Re: New album

Jammaster from studio speaking. After first week about half of the lead vocals done. I always forget how time-consuming it can be and how much work there is to make that "perfect take" happen. Nevertheless I'm feeling quite happy and I keep pushing myself to get my job done in a reasonable amount of time ;)

Week started as usual, I was sick as hell after being totally well whole time while everyone else were doing their part and I think I'm getting used to this shit happening with every album  I think there is something wrong with my deal with the devil. There isn't that much what you can do about it, just lot's of drugs and coffee. It's hard to concentrate when you are sick but it doesn't usually alter my voice that much. Happily I'm getting better and my strength back as we speak.

I always forget how I want things to be when I record vocals or maybe everything just keeps changing around me that it's hard to find right balance but maybe if I write everything down this time I save some time in the future. Right now I keep volume quite low and no vocal at all in my headphones and right ear little off. That seems to keep me in killer tune most of the time ;)

I like to work at nights alone and I actually did one song in dark to get weird moods flying around, it was snowing at the time and whole city was sleeping so it was quite interesting. Anyway, I go to grab some food and continue doing this masterpiece later...

...video stuff coming when I have some spare time ;)

Hello all ladyboys, lead vocals are now recorded. Ugh. Finally ;)

I check Johhnnyboys final thoughts about my tracks tomorrow and then weekend goes with tracking backing vocals, we are hoping to get all of them done in 2-3 days so couple long days ahead.

Whazzup...

As previously stated, last vocals done and let me tell you that we got some really outrageous harmony stuff going.. 8)

now it's tuesday night and first mixing day behind and pretty rock oriented start I must say.. Cool 6/8 song under work.. I did some prepping yesterday and today got to start doing the actual mixes.. =D>

13 songs to mix in this session and we'll see which one of those end up on the album.. I'd say maybe all if you ask me.. =P~

from this day on it should be pretty straight forward mixing to the late days of 2009.. I'll get you some photos and maybe some video from the mixing session if someone from the guys happens to be around to take some shots..

but now some sleep.... later dudes....

YAU YAU!!!

what's up boys and girls...
3 weeks of straight mixing behind and we're on schedule and somewhat moving into magic territory as songs began to turn into the final monsters they can be...

to put it short.. crushing, poppy and rhythm oriented shit is what I've been looking during mixing and all that and lots of other trippy shit is happing as we speak... I try to finish everything before christmas but I may have to do some final adjustments before year turns into 2010.. but anyway we're ready when the year turns.. then my job is done and we hand the material to (yet undecided) guru to bring the extra balls and kinky shit to the table with mastering..

more of the release dates and other shit very soon... have a nice sunday...!!!!!!

later......

I'm sitting in my living room and listening mixed tracks & writing down final thoughts about the tracks witch are pretty much done.

We're going to do some fine tuning next couple days but I must say that I wouldn't be shamed if tracks were released today, Johnny did amazing job with the mixes, much better than I thought actually ;)

I did know that the guy has amazing passion about tweaking the knobs, but he also seems also have skills to understanding overall balance way over my understanding. The album sounds full, rich, balanced combination of pop & metal. I must say that eou sound has evolved to the right direction. Only problem seems to be that the album might be a bit long so getting rid of song or two will be challenging task and I don't know about another folks but I haven't started to even think about track orders yet, hopefully it will come to us easily as it has before.

So the wait is over, end is here. We just need to wrap this thing to shiny little plastic and paper and past it to you folks within a couple months. I cant wait to let all of you hear the album and mark my word, you will be surprised!

We are still waiting video about vocals to eou tv right? Well I try to find the way to the editing table, way too much material to watch you know, myself... I just don't feel I'm up for the task ;)

Not sure if we are going to post anything here in few days so Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all friends and fans out there!

Lets stay dark

hello!!

First of all hails to Jami for the kind words!

I haven't been around for a while. Been busy with arranging some mastering and actually had a couple days off after the 2,5 months of work with the album.. 8) It was a blast definitely. I'm really happy with the mixes and it turn out great, considering it's my first "commercial" work as a producer, engineer and mixing dude. :D HOpe to do this a lot more in the future.

So the album is ready and mastering will happen in New York this thursday and after that we have some other work with cover art etc.. but we're really close of completing this whole project. Which is nice. Very nice.

Totally killer 10 songs for the album. First single is decided and it will rock your cock socks off.. big time. Video shootings should start also soon for that song.

4 songs that were left out from the album will appear as bonus stuff later on and I try to do couple remixes from the album. Let's see where we can release those.

Dates and other shit soon as soon as we know more. Stay tuned.. =P~ Later....

I wasn't up to the task for watching my self singing over and over again so I just grabbed few minutes from making of song called "Hey My Enemies". It seems to be some kind of strange combination of computer crash and warm up, but maybe you can try to figure it out ;)

I'm thinking about adding blog section to our site but before that time to put some kind of closure for this one. So new web pages are getting some shape, few things here and there still needs some work but we are getting there ;) I think I did better job with it than with Mimesis, but it's just my humble opinion ;)

So what's going on? We are polluting radio-waves a bit in Funland, few interviews coming up here and there, negotiations with few booking agency's and shit like that going on.

I directed new video basically on "lets try" basis and we were brave enough to release it today so sorry about that ;) Thanx for Mikko Huovinen who helped me with many things, because of him we have decent lights and many great advices with editing here and there.

I keep you updated in way or another, but this blog is over and out ;)

We hope you like our album what comes out day after tomorrow.

I think we start making next one immediately
